Dual boot Linux and Windows 10 on Acer Aspire E5-573G.
Hi,
My notebook has Windows 10 installed, and I would also install Kubuntu dual boot.
I already disable Secure boot and fast start Windows 10.
The test with LIve Kubuntu on usb flash memory is ok, so I installed Kubuntu. Installing Kubuntu ended well.
But, when reboot the pc does not appear menu Grub, and restart Windows 10.
I have already Boot Repair, nothing has changed.
Thanks.

I solved.
I followed the advice of this topic, after it appeared in boot list, but at reboot appear this error message
<Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported ...>. A step forward ... but i d'ont understand ...
I had given up in favor of Ubuntu on usb support. Finally, I decided to reistall Kubuntu.
In the boot list is still kubuntushimx64efi (created by me as suggested in the above topic)
but now ... appear the Grub.
Now I have another problem .... I open a new more Post.
Thank you very much for your help.

The last post says "You welcome".
(I'm joking)
Or if you want an alternative method.... go in to BIOS and enable the Boot Menu..then save/exit. And then hit F12 at the Acer screen.
There's an assumption that you have the latest BIOS....which is of course a basic beginner troubleshooting step.

For the grub from live Kubuntu I followed

now my notebook bios is 1.15, infact the live Kubuntu, now, is ok.
The grub live there, does not appear that after installation.
The respons of Boot repair is this

Mich,
You can ask in this thread and maybe eelcoherder will give you step-by-step.
Probably lots of different ways to find out how to get it working on the internet.
