Revo Build (M1-601) space issue

Hi,

I have just bought a new revo build and installed my own MS office.

The system applies some windows updates until I reach the Microsoft November patch (Windows 10 Build 105xx) which the download is more than 3GB.

Downloading the update is successful but to apply the update, it asked for approximate 8GB of free space from C: drive.

From the screen, it given an option to use an external drive to proceed with the update / roll back should I need it later.

My external hard disk is 1 Terabyte but the updates still insist a 6.5GB of free space from C: drive before it can continue.

I run Acer Support Care tool to perform disk clean up and also run C: disk clean up.
There are only 4.4GB of available free space from C: drive after all these action.

I am stuck.

You need to do a disc cleanup.

Use the Windows cleanup tool, and choose to clean up system files.. Thats an extra option down to the left, when you start the tool.

then it should be able to clean about 20Gb.

How did you calculate the 20gb of free space available?

The out of box Revo only have approx 16gb of free space.

Oh, well, that was what the cleaning program said.

So.. At least it is cleaning more than if you dont clean the system files. Smiley Happy
