Factory Replacement Keyboard Available?

I would like to purchase an OEM QWERTY (American English) keyboard.  How do I do this?  I cannot find an "order replacement parts" section anywhere on the acer.com site.

I am an English speaker living in Germany and just yesterday purchased an Acer German market Predator 17 (G9-791-79HR).  The default German keyboard - while useable - makes a few things more difficult for me.  Comparing photos, the physical keyboard layouts are the same, only different charactors/placement..  Seems like this should be an "easy" replacement IF I could find a way to order a QWERTY keyboard.

Any advice or assistance will be truly appreciated!

Respectfully,

Batch

    Hi Batch,

What I can do is, is provide the PN for the US keyboard for the G9-791 available in the US. This information is below. **EDIT** This is a full upper case, the KB is not available separately from what I see.

    KEYBOARD

    KEYBOARD W/UPPER CASE W/TOUCH PAD/SPEAKER/EG5P_A50BRL INTERNAL 15 STANDARD 103KS US INTERNATIONAL Y2015 ACER GAME LEGEND BACKLIT (RED+BLUE)

Unfortunately, it's not as easy as just selling a warranty part. Our service team in the US would need a US serial number to tie the sale to, and they would only ship within the US. I hope having the PN helps you in finding the part, even if Acer doesn't directly sell it.

    Thanks,
    Cory

    Acer-Cory,

Thank you so much for the fast response!  To be truthful, I didn't expect an Acer representative to be the one answering my inquiry...even better!

I am retired US military now working for the US Army here in Germany.  That said, a US mailing address is easy...I just use my US Postal Service "APO" address.  The US serial number is a bit more difficult to come by but hopefully someone reading this who has purchased a US model would allow me to "borrow" their serial number. <fingers crossed>

The new toy, I mean laptop, should be delivered in the next few hours and I am looking forward to trying it out.

One follow-up question though...with whom (and how) do I make contact to order this keyboard/uppercase assembly?

Acer-Cory, thank you again for your help!

    Respectfully,
