I puchased a brand new Acer Predator x34 monitor from Micro Center. I have already exchanged it out twice with each time having a monitor with major backlight bleeding issues. When ever playing dark enviroment games like Alien Isolation or Killing Floor 2 the backlight bleeding is really bad. I have owned many monitors in my life time including ISP and TFT and this is the worst it can get coming from Acer. I think the name says it all and the QA level is just that very poor. Just look how bad my game looks in a dark room. This is unacceptable on every level. When you consider the amount of money I spent on it.  I've never had this problem on Asus or even a Dell Ultrasharp 30" ISP monitor.  The transaction to Acer has not been anything but time consuming. I'm not at all wowed out of the box if you know what I mean. So what's next? RMA or have a service tech come to my home and tune this unit up?

There's no overexposure there on the picture?  I know that IPS are expected to have some bleed, but that's...that's the worst I've seen so far.  Perhaps they can replace the panel for you if you RMA it?

Yes, it's horrible.  I even see alot of backlight bleeding on the desktop when ever I'm not in gaming mode.

Refund it. That seems like a defective panel.
