Does your TV has more than one HDMI port?

if so, you need to switch it manually on your TV.

honestly i don't remember if there's a setting about HDMI out on tablet, but if it's available, probably is under:

    settings/display

There are three different things under the HDMI settings, (HDMI Status, Modes, Overscan Compensation) but none of them seem to have any effect.  The status contiues to read, disconnected, even when I hook up the cable.

As far as the tv goes, I have three ports, I hooked it into port three then chose that as my input selection.  TV remains blank.

if it status doesn't change, tablet and TV can't comunicate, so it can be a faulty HDMI cable or some issue on HDMI ports.

have you tried to connect any other device on your TV HDMI?

i solve my problem i go to device manager, and in the audio-video game controler, i change to the old driver of the intel. With the old version of the intel driver, the sound is going to my HDMI TV

I don't know if I have any  other devices with HDMI ports.  I will check out some of my other tablets and see.  Thanks.
