Aspire VN7-791 crashing

Hello,

I recently have ran into a problem with my computer. It's an Aspire VN7-791. It has 128 gb ssd, 1 tb hdd. NVIDIA GTX 860M graphics card and a Intel Core i5-4210 CPU, with 8 gb of ram. All my drivers are updated.

For a few weeks ago, my ssd crashed completly and had to be replaced at acer workshop. However after getting my computer back, a new problem showed up. Normally if I don't do any nvidia control panel changes, my computer runs fine but when I play any game the display driver will constantly crash, making me unable to play. After a little while I found something on the internet which told me to do some changes in the nvidia control panel, and this fixed the problem, the display driver stopped crashing. Yet again new problems appeared. Whenever I DONT play a game, my computer will randomly freeze completly, and requires to be hard rebooted.

As you probably see, this isn't very effective. Either I can't play games, and use it for normal purposes like the web, or I can only play games.. Both of these solutions is pretty bad.. And I can't wrap my head around it, doesn't make sense to me, atleast. I hope some of you can help me with this weird problem! Thanks!
