2 month old monitor started cycling through the menus at lightning speed after being powered on today for an hour. Never seen anything like it. Still under warranty. Can Acer help? Is it a simple fix?

I've tried unplugging power and displayport cords and also unplugged power and held the power button for 60 seconds multiple times. New drivers. Reset all settings. Nothing is working.

Please help! I got this monitor after a lightning strike took out multiple devices here and really don't want to go through more ***** to fix this if I can avoid it.

    BoomSlang,

Have you tried connecting the monitor to another system to see if the same issue occurs?

I did not have an opportunity to do this. However, it really seemed like a hardware problem to me. I cleaned and installed new drivers to humor that theory anyway and it didn't work. I did all the power cycle related fixes I found online along with 1 "official" possible solution from someone at Acer. I sent this monitor in last week, unfortunately. It was perfect otherwise so it really pisses me off.

Finally no dead pixels, no major color shift/yellowing, and no backlight bleed at all. Perfect. Until this OSD nightmare. If I could have disabled the menus like others allow I could've worked with it. Unfortunate.
