I m getting "Auto Update Failed" alarm in my Acer Iconia A1-830 when connecting to WiFi.

Also after formatting my tablet to Factory setting lot of applications are showing message "the android version not compatible to use this apps". Pls advise how to resolve this. My unit was purchased in Australia and now I am using in India.

About SNID, probably it can only be used on Acer Australia website, since you bought it here.

    About other issues:

i never heard from Acer any news about updates to Lollipop 5.0

try using another WiFi network to check updates (settings/about tablet - system updates), remember to have a microSD available on your tablet to update
