I did a fresh install of Windows 10 (not an upgrade), and it shows the the Acer XB270HU is just a plug and play monitor. We all know that this model is not just a "plug and play" monitor. Is there anyway I can get Windows 10 to see/recgonize my monitor. Please help!

    StomachHead,

You can try the drivers that are listed on our support site for Windows 8, they may help it.

    Justin,

When I try to force the Windows 8(64 bit) driver it tells me that it does not have the digital signature, and it will not install the driver.

"The third-party INF does not contain digital signature information"

"If you know the manufacturer of your device you can visit its website and check the support section for driver software."

Do you know when you will have Windows 10 drivers for this monitor? I hope you will have them soon cause I feel that I do not have the full potentical of the monitor working in Windows 10 right now.

Just wanted to chime in with the same problem - since the new Windows 10 update (build 568, I believe), the XB270HU drivers are no longer accepted as valid, as they have no digital signature. You used to be able to ignore that and install them anyways, but Windows 10 now seems to be insisting on it.

An updated Windows 10-compatible version of the drivers would be greatly appreciated for this otherwise great monitor...

Found a solution: you can change some settings in Windows 10 so that it will again allow unsigned drivers:

    http://www.howtogeek.com/167723/how-to-disable-driver-signature-verification-on-64-bit-windows-8.1-so-that-you-can-install-unsigned-drivers/

It requires a few reboots, but it does allow you to install the Acer driver once you've done it.

Obviously, signed drivers would be better, but at least there's a work-around.
