I have 3 Aspire 5600U computer that will note boot with a USB 3 device plugged into the USB 3 port
It has not become an issue with the constant updates from Microsoft for Windos 10 to check all 3 computers everyday to see if the USB 3 device needs to be unplugged before the reboot can complete itself.

BillII,
So I understand what you are saying a little better, are you stating that your A5600U will not boot with a USB 3 device plugged in or you are trying to boot from a USB 3 device and that is not working?

I am nott trying to boot from the device. I have a USB 3 External Hard Drive attached to the USB 3 port on the side of the computers and the computers will not boot when the drive in connected to the port.

BillII,
Thank you for the clarification. Would you please access the BIOS and reset it to defaults, then save and exit to see if it boots up?
I presume that it boots fine without the external drive connected, what happens if you put the external hard drive in a USB 2.0 port, will it boot fine?
