Acer Aspire One hard drive cable

While trying to replace the hard drive in my Acer Aspire One 722-0473 I accidentally yanked the had drive cable off of the motherboard.

I can't quite tell whether I need a new cable or if I am missing a part that snaps into place and attaches the cable to the motherboard securely.

Please advise what I need to do.
Thanks
Phil

i don't think you need parts.

the HDD card connector is the big one under near (JHDD) the fan connector (JFAN), you just to slip the HDD cable inside and push back the connector.

Thanks for the reply and the photo. It looks like I broke off the lever that locks the cable into place. I will have it see if it can be replaced with a new one that can be snapped on.

you can try to fix it with electrical tape.

YES! I'm upgrading my hard drive and I somehow loosened the cable. Your instructions were perfect. I am so very grateful for the generous people who post replies, people who made my mistakes before me and the internet for making it so easy to find answers.
