My Acer Iconia Tab 8 W1-810-15A2 tablet with Windows 8.1 was upgraded by Microsoft online to Windows 10 for FREE, Great! BUT.... After upgrade, the battery now discharges DESPITE being plugged in. WHY?
BUT IF I shut it down, it CHARGES as usual.
Should I go BACK to Windows 8.1? OR should I re-install all drivers and there is a BIOS upgrade as well, I noticed in the Drivers & Software section of Acer.com.
Did anyone have the SAME problem? I GOOGLED and it seems OTHERS have3 encountered the same problem, not only with tablets but laptops, notebooks, etc.
is this an Acer deficiency OR a Microsoft BUG, to put it simply ???
I also read the experience of a user with SAME problem and he DID successfully went back to Windows 8.1. PROBLEM WAS that discharging battery problem despite being plufgged in STILL WAS THERE? ACER BUG, I guess.
ANY SUGGESTIONS, ADVICE? Greatly appreciated!
