Recovery USB-drive (DVD-drive is not working) Acer Aspire 7750G

Hi everyone,
For quit some time my DVD-drive is not working. That's no big problem for me, because a barely use it.
Unfortunately it is not possible to burn recovery DVD's. I see there is an option to make a recovery USB-drive. That would be a great solution! Sadly I don't have the possibility to do so. Is this only possible for computers without a optical drive? Is there a way to download the program with the option to use a USB-drive like in the YouTube video?

You can try a workaround, since i'm not sure that Acer had ever release a eRecovery version on windows 7 that can create USB recovery media.
This free software will let you create a virtual DVD/rw drive and use it to create an iso file, then you can ise this iso file to create an USB recovery using rufus:

I have Windows 7 installed on my laptop. I have version 5 of Acer eRecovery Management...
