Hello,

Am new here. I just ordered the new Acer Iconia 7" tablet. Am just wondering could I use one of these protective leather cases with keyboard with it?

I just found the following info:

The information I have available on the Iconia B1-A71 says that the microUSB port is not a hub port and is for data

    > cable connectivity and for charging.  You should be able to do data transfer with the port from another computer.

So it looks like NO, we can't connect a keyboard to the B1 tablet.

Thank you so much for the info. I am disappointed that an external keyboard cannot be used as I find the keyboard on the Acer Iconia B1 is a bear. The letters are not formatted to reflect a standardized keyboard, the "send" button is in a horrible position and I need to use a stylus pen for ease of typing. Oh well, that's what you get when you go cheap. Thanks again for taking the time to be helpful.

There are a great many different keyboards available from the play store. Try a few others until you find one that works well for you.
