My Aspire Switch 12 no longer sees its keyboard, USB port or the MicroSD card.

I've done everything I can think of besides resetting back to the factory default, which I'm reluctant to do. Has anyone else here had this issue, or know what I should do?

    Padgett, thank you Smiley Happy

I've had the Switch 12 for a week and wasn't aware that it charges from the back-end. Weird logic...and why doesn't Acer explain this clearly?

That solved the keyboard problem, while Marc from the Netherlands sorted the others by pointing out that some update switches off the MicroSD and USB port. I switched them on again in the device manager, so that all is working now as it should.

I'm a happy chappy now, though so much time wasted this weekend due to Acer's mediocre communications.

    Thank you again.

I believe SDCard and USB ports are part of the core driver package (available for download on the support site) though the keyboard should be seen at BIOS time. Are you sure the keyboard is charged ? When you switch it on there should be a blue light by the switch to show connectivity.

One of the questionable things Acer did was make it so the keyboard can only charge (orange light) when connected to the back of the Switch 12 and not the front.

One thing I really do not understand is my Switch 12's USB 3.0 lack of speed. Using Crystal Mark, the best I have seen from a 3.0 flash drive tested at over 100 MB/s on a desktop is 38 MB/s. Is your experience different ?

Ah, I thought it must be the SD card so sent it back.  I can get up to 45MB/s reads from both the USB3 and USB2, oddly.  The card slot maxes out in the 30MB/s range so I suspect is not UHS.
