I am very disappointed in Acer. Very bad attitude to their customers. Here is my story:
I bought my laptop Acer aspire e5-573g two weeks ago. I installed windows 10 and after first restarting I got a black screen ... No logo Acer, no cursor (mouse) and I cannot access the settings. It’s just a brick now. And this is not only my problem. When I googled this problem I realized that a lot of people have the same troubles (black screen). Acer support doesn’t help and doesn’t assist.
Older Acer models - bios can be restored with the aid of usb flash and firmware file. But for this model "smart" Acer’s engineers created bios which cannot be restored that way.
I don’t have any service centers for Acer in my area. Nearest is 500 km far away. I have to go there by myself to resolve this problem. Ok! What if I come back and the problem will happen again? I have to go back over 500 km? It’s wasting of my time and money!!! I'll never buy any Acer product and will do anything that I can to share Acer service and quality. Shame to you, Acer!

    valbogov,

Sorry to hear that you are having problems with your notebook, I would like to see if I can get a better understanding of the whole situation and see if some things might resolve the problem. I realize that the nearest Acer center to you is a long ways away, so I want to avoid that option if possible.

When you say you installed Windows 10, are you talking about going through the upgrade process or just trying a clean install outright? If you tried a clean install outright without going through the upgrade process it will have issues. In order to do a clean install of Windows 10 you have to follow these steps for everything to work right.

I know that you said there is no logo screen, but are you able to get into the BIOS at all, or is that what you meant by you cannot access the settings? I do not see in your post where you talked about updating the BIOS, I am not sure why you would need to recover the BIOS.

     Acer-Justin,

I cannot enter the bios setup! I see just black screen and there is no even Acer logo. It happened after reboot Windows. I did first install of Windows 10, not update! I do not have windows 8.1. I bought the windows 10. The black screen is not a windows problem, this is problem of bios

    valbogov,

Thank you for providing some more details, I just need a little more, do you have the exact model of the notebook you purchased for research purposes? I know that it is an E5-573G, but what is the four character extension afterwards, E5-573G-????

I am still confused how the BIOS would have issues, but I will leave that to when I get the whole model information.

    Acer-Justin,

My model is e5-573g-528s (NX.MVGEU.010). of Notebooks of e5-573g series has a problem of black screens. This this problem is not problem of updating bios only. Here is a new message today on this forum, which said that the laptop E5-573G-56JT turned off and they cannot turn it on any more. They can see only black screen. Here is the link

    valbogov,

Thank you for the model information. I apologize for the experience you are having, but now we understand why Acer support would not assist you; they do not assist with retail installations of the operating system.

I show that this notebook shipped with Linpus on it, which explains your earlier post about buying Windows 10 to install. For this situation, if you are having problems getting the system up and running, we recommend you work with Microsoft and Linux directly. Smiley Frustrated

Here is a link to the Microsoft support page, you can change the language at the bottom if needed.

    Acer-Justin,

Why Microsoft? I cannot get into the bios! Because it was made incorrectly and does not initialize video card. That’s why the black screen. The bios was made by Microsoft or Acer? I just laugh from your support. I bought a product from Acer and it does not work correctly, and you give me a link to Microsoft!!
