A3A10 time is 1 hour behind when I turn it on
My Acer A3A10 tablet's time is 1 hour behind when I turn it on. I went to Settings > Date & Time > Automatic date & time is checked on and the time zone is set to Eastern Daylight Time, but it still changes back to an hour berhind every time I turn it on. I've looked on here to see if anyone else is having this issue, but didn't find it yet. Maybe someone can help.

This is what I see for time zones:
Eastern time: GMT -4:00
Atlantic Time (Canada): GMT -3:00

Uncheck the automatic date & time box, make sure it is set to the right time, then put the check in the box again.

i've did that, but it still is an hour behind the next time i turn it on.

It sounds to me like the daylight savings time stuff isn't working. Where are you located?

I am in southwestern ontario canada, near windsor or detroit. I was thinking that maybe my location that it thinks i'm at is wrong, how do I check that?

Should be part of the time zone settings... When you set it for Eastern Time, does it have separate entries for US and Canada? If not does it have a toggle for automatic daylight savings? I don't have my tablet with me this week, so I can't see what the actual wording is.

I tried what you said about the automatic date & time box again, it worked. I think that I didn't make sure to change to the correct time before I checked the automatic date & time box again. Thank you very much for your time and excellent advise.
