Missing sm buss controller driver

After a recovery from an initial recovery disk the sm bus controller driver was missing and can't be found any where on my PC. I uninstalled the driver and did restart but it was not found any where. I searched Acer driver downloads for my PC to install from there but couldn't find the driver for the sm bus controller.
1. What is the proper driver?
2. Where can I find if for free?
3. Is there a link I can use to fix this?
My system: Acer Aspire Home Premium X3810
Windows Vista 64 & 32 bit. OS

Hello,
You have to reinstall the Intel chipset driver. You'll find it on your Acer website. Select the right OS.

Thanks for the solution! I went to the Acer web site first but for some reason the chipset driver would not install. I found, SMBus Controller Not Recognized by Windows @ http://www.intell.com/support/chipset/inf/sb/CS-013541.htm, and down loaded the INF Update Utility-for intelx79 chipset. This fixed the driver.
