I recently found that my acer R13 371t cannot resume from sleep after i open the lid.

Any suggestion on the way to solve the above problems?

Thanks

Have you tried updating the latest display driver? If not update the display driver from the below link http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers If the lid closed action is set to “Do nothing”, the system does not wake up by opening the lid. I would suggest you to try to change the lid closed action to another option instead of Do nothing and check if the laptop wakes up automatically after opening the lid. If the issue still persists, I would suggest you to try to turn off hybrid sleep and check. a. Press Windows key + X. b. Click on Power Options. c. Under your current Plan Settings (Balanced), click on Change Plan Settings. d. Click on Change advanced power settings. e. Now under Advanced Power Settings. f. Expand Sleep. g. Click on Allow Hybrid Sleep. h. Change the Settings to Off. i. Click on Apply and OK. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Remember to mark "Accept as Solution",If I was helpful and the post solved your problem.
