Aspire Switch 11 SW5-171 trackpad freezing intermittently
I had this problem on Windows 8.1. Upgraded to Windows 10. Still same problem. Any suggestions? Love the machine but this is extremely annoying and it's getting worse.

Remove the installed drivers and restart to let Windows install them, see if that resolves the issue.

Loose cable. I have a switch...11. now my kids.. Sent it back.. came back fixed . said they reseated the cable. But it started again.. So I opened it and did that and it fixed it. Kid has not complained since so I assume it is OK.

Thank you both. It's been working for the last week and a half so I haven't messed with it. If I do open it up, what does the cable look like and how does one reseat it?

Its a small ribbon cable the connector that has a little lock lift level. This boardmount locks can be broken dont force them
