H6510BD Disassembly Guide

Hello, can anyone lead me to a disassembly guide for this projector? I would like to change the speaker in the projector, if at all possible. It's not very good and clips at a reasonable listening volume, but I think I could remove it and put another higher watt speaker with a small amplifier in its place.

It would also be good to know how to bypass the bulb detection. I know there is a circuit that spikes the voltage to turn on the bulb and then regulates its current; so it seems when the current starts flowing through the bulb, the circuit 'detects' a bulb and turns on. I imagine then there is a signal somewhere that needs to get turned on. I'd like to do this so I can put in an LED bulb that would reduce power consumption a lot, something like this https://www.myled.com/p5428-led-emitter-30w-2400-2700lm-integrated-cool-white-dc30-33v.html

And I know this would void the warranty of course, but I'm okay with that.

Don't suppose I'll get an answer, but I thought I'd try.

Any luck finding a disassembly guide? I need to clean the inside thoroughly. (h6510bd) I don't care about voiding any warranty etc. I would just feel a lot safer if someone has any guide/tips/advice/warnings. Thanks.

Ah, negative. I did manage to take the thing apart for cleaning purposes. Once you remove all the bottoms screws and the cover to the bulb and take the bulb out, you gotta force the covers off (they snap in, which is kind of cheap really or they don't want people fixing these projectors). After that it's easy to disassemble and clean the lenses and DLP chip. The screw for the bulb cover is hard to find though; it's on the front panel in front of the fan. Little black screw.

If on one hand you just have something on the lense, you could try compressed air in a can. DONT SHAKE IT though or it might squirt some white liquid on the lenses. It worked for me, though I made the mistake of shaking it and had to take it apart anyway...
