Just upgraded from windows 8 to 10. Unfortunately webcam cannot be found.

The webcam does not appear in Skype and also not in device manager. Probably i deinstalled it myself as there was an exlamation mark on one of the three USB devices. I thought it was a USB and did not succeed in updating the drivers. I now read that a USB device can be the webcam?

I updated the drivers and performed a hardware problem check, unfortunately without succes.

Thanks.

I have the same issue with my Acer E5-573G-59C3 ... The "solution" from the livechat was to roll-back my OS to an obsolete version (8.1).  That's not much of a solution.

Might just need to roll back the camera driver to the 8.1 version.
