I'm sorry,  this is old history and I am new to this site.  I have read many sites and it seems there is no one correct answer.  I know this is old history but this computer is my Grand daughters and she needs to speed it up and can't afford a new one.  She has upgraded the memory to  4Gig and I would like to at least put a dual core processor in it.  I am aware it could be better but I would like to put a AMD TL60HAX5CT 1.9 Ghz 1Mb L2 cip in place of the TF-20 she has currently.  Machine came with Windows 7 Home Premium.

Will the chip I spelled out work in this machine.  Some say it will and some say no.  What is the best chip I can put into this laptop for her.  Please help.

    Hello,

Could you give me the first ten characters of the computer serial number (S/N)? Only the first ten.

Could you be so kind and tell me what dual cor chip I could use in this Acer.  I is for my Grand  Daughter and I would like for it to process quicker than it does.  I hope the Bios and everything else wil be OK.  Any information will help.
