Hi, I've cracked the touchscreen on my aspire v5 labtop and am getting phantom clicks that I would like to disable. The issue is that everything I try to do gets interrupted by the phantom clicks; otherwise it would be a simple matter to disable the drivers.
Does anybody have suggestions on how to circumvent this? Is there a non-interruptable way to temporarily disable all pointer functions so I can turn off the drivers? Alternately, is there a way i could deattach the laptop screen and disable the drivers using a different monitor? Or just a way to disconnect thr touch part of the screen hardware?
Thanks in advance; any suggestions help!
