I just tried Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare.

Highest refresh rate in NVCP VSYNC off max settings in game with 2560x1440 @ 144 Hz ---- results?

    Frame capped at 110 FPS.

Hello. Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I am having the same difficulty. Running the XB270HU with two 980 GTX's in SLI. Have G-Sync disabled but I am getting low FPS when running SLI. If I disable SLI, the FPS improve. If I go back to my 60htz monitor, I get normal framerates.

Ok, I created a profile for this :-)

I think I just figured out the 110 FPS problem. My second GPU was running in x4 PCIe mode for some reason while it should be in x8 mode (I have a PCIe sound card and RAID adapter as well). I believe I know how I created the issue and now how I fixed it. Few months ago I swapped them and now I swapped them back. Problem solved. And no, I don't understand it either.

If you have a motherboard with GPU POST (Asus Rampage IV Extreme in my case) look in there, you'll see something like this:

Which is wrong, even in the worst case scenario (all PCIe slots full) you should get x8 on your GPU, not x4.
