Does Acer have a device exchange to a different model if date of purchase is less than a week?

I bought a Liquid M220 because I like Windows but the device will not read my sim card after using it for 3-4 hours. It will not receive call, messages and data even thought it has signal bars but it you check "cellular+SIM" under "SETTINGS", SIM 1 and SIM 2 are greyed out. I also noticed that the signal bars are not refreshing. i have to power cycle the device every time it does that. I already performed basic troubleshooting like factory default reset, uninstalling applications and changing the sim card but it did not fix the issue. I went to the store where i purchase the device and they exchange it with same model and my second phone have the same issue. I was willing to add cash to have the phone exchange with the Liquid V550 even i do not like using Androids but they said that they can only replace the phone with the same model. Please help
