A1 810 doesn´t turn on

Hi community!

I´m having problems with my tablet, and it wont turn on again. I was doing a factory reset by recovery mode, I accepted the "yes, perform factory reset" option and it started to erase all the data of my tablet, but now it has been erasing and restarting itself for 24 hours.

Today I tried entering to the recovery mode again, and it´s impossible; also tried using de rest button and connect it to the charger again, and it comes to the "erasing" screen back again every single time after the tablet turns on again.

Sincerily, I don´t know what else to do.

If it helps, the tablet is running on Os 4.4

    javiercastro,

Other than contacting the Acer Technical support and possibly having the tablet repaired you can attempt to download the operating system we have available here. Just go through the list, find your system, and click on the O.S. tab for what we have available.

Thank you for your answer, but since there was no way to enter again in recovery mode, since the loop, I've decided to take it to repair. Now I need to wait till Acer finds a replacement for the motherboard...

So how are you supposed to download the o.s on a tablet that doesn't start up?
    So much for technical support...
Mines done the same and it seems that a lot of others have had it too. Obviously a common fault, but yet no real answer for how to fix it.

I didn't get it when I read that answer. I was like "how on earth...?"

The solution is, if you're covered by the warranty, take it to repair, they'll change the main board. That's what happened to mine, and other people too.

It's not a rare thing with this model. But if you're not covered you are really lost.

Well in my mind if it's a common fault then it should be a free fix.
Mines just out of the manufacturers warranty, typically!
Although trading standards would probably argue the case of it being not fit for purpose and for a reasonable amount of time.
