My brand new Acer Aspite E 15 is pretty slow

Yesterday I bought the Acer Aspire E15 E5-521G-871K

(AMD quad-core A8-6410, 4GB DDR3)

I'm still installing the software I need, like office, acrobat,etc but while searching the web for those softwares and a couple other things I noticed that the laptop runs pretty slower than I anticipated, I actually think it's slower than my previous laptop with an intel pentium processor and 2GB ram.

I already checked for virus (mcafee) and malware (malware bytes - antimalware) and it didn't find anything

also I don't know if it's the laptop fault but I was expecting to be able to watch youtube videos in hd (I couldn't in my other laptop) and I still can't. it buffers slowly but acceptable but the video has lag

any tips on how can I make it better?

I'd give it a couple days. Anytime you buy a new computer, there's all sorts of things happening in the background such as ton of Windows updates, windows indexing in the background after you install a bunch of programs or files....

If you're getting the same lag on two different computers, it's probably unrelated to the computer itself.

It could be a lot of different things. One thing to check is your router. Sometimes people change their DNS on their router and it hurts them because many ISPs have youtube caching. So in most cases, you should always use your ISP DNS servers. If your ISP isn't one of the big ones like comcast, AT&T etc....you could always try to use Google Public DNS servers 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. In my case, using my ISPs DNS actually works much better than Google's.
