Looking to add addit. 2GB RAM to Veriton m275. Tried RAM w/ SN:4047762386078, long beep, didnt work

Hi. I'm trying to add an additional 2GB RAM to my ACER Veriton M275. It currently has a Unifosa GU512303EP0202 2GB RAM installed. I order RAM with SN: 4047762386078, which didnt work, even though it said it was compatible. Any clues on which models will work? Does the additional 2GB RAM have to be identical to the original?

    Hi,

I inserted both ram correctly as well as the first ram by itself and both didn't work. I'm just curious as to why the ram I ordered doesn't work, as it has the same technical specifications as the ram models you listed. Will it still work even when mixing different models of ram? Thanks!

Yes if you use the memory sticks listed.

What memory stick did you buy?

    Hello,

The only difference is the component composition:

    Ex:

    Samsung: 128Mx8 - 2 ranks

    Mustang: 256Mx8 - 1 rank? (Hynix memory)

All other specifications are correct so ???

Ok thanks for your help! I will try one of the models you listed and hopefully it will work with the old model present in the computer currently.

So what were the results poster? I have one like your pc and would like to kick it from 3 to 4 on the ram.
