Hello guys, I just want to know if I can safely upgrade my i3-380M into i5-480M

    Yes i got the i5 cpu which i was thinkin i can just put into my mobo to boost a bit my performance i see both are 35W... i guess there wont be power or overheating issues?

    UPDATE: I did the upgrade and so far so good. The computer recognized the new cpu and even under heavy load it did not go above 75 degrees. However for some reason I experienced some weird audio delays first 1-2h after the change, but now seems fine. Will continue to track the performance, Im also planning to add new HDD or possibly SSHD ~500GB

    Looking for suggestions for good ones as my original is almost toasted Smiley Tongue
