UEFI not working after switching HDD to SSD
I have bought an Acer Aspire E 15 Start (ES1-512-P6EL) and switched the included 500GB HDD to a 128GB SSD. Now, after installing Windows or Linux, it shows the no bootable device found message. I've been told that disabling the Secure Boot option in BIOS solves this problem but it's grayed out. If I switch to Legacy mode, everything works fine. I am using the latest BIOS.

That worked. Can I remove the supervisor password after disabling the Secure Boot option?

Well, still doesn't boot even with Secure Boot off. Can it be a BIOS problem on this laptop?
I'll use Legacy mode for now, it works fine.

watch this :

- Install as does in this tutorial.
- After you complete, create a usb or dvd with windows 8.1
- Then will work.
- After 8.1 you can upgrade to windows 10 if you wish.
- That's how worked for me.
Hope I helped you.
