Acer Liquid e700 - can't find off-peak email syncing setting

On other smartphones I've used I can set my email syncing with an Exchange server to stop at 10pm and restart at 8am so I'm not disturbed in the night by incoming emails. This is usally called the "Off Peak" hours in the Sync settings.

I can't find out how to do this automatically on the Acer Liquid e700.

 

Is this feature not available or am I missing something? Maybe there is a separate email app that could achieve the same result.

    OK well I got the app Touchdown HD for $20 and this has the "off-peak" email check capability that I wanted.

    i don't have an exchange account to test it, sorry.

    I'd like to have this function too, but I suspect that it's not available in this version of the email client and that another client will be needed, try OWA if you have a 365 account, or similar.
