Video and audio staggering

The video and audio on my Acer Predator GS-605 is staggering and has even froze up the machine a couple of times.  I've owned the machine for 5 months now and this has only just started happening over the past week.

    do you mean G3-605?

    if so:

    http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers/4862;-;Aspire%20G3-605

select your OS, download and install this drivers:

    intel chipset

    realtek audio driver

then check if your issue is fixed.

have you installed any windows updates in this 2 hours?

please check if there is an heavy HDD or CPU use then stutter appears.

No, nothing has come up.  I just watched an episode of Leverage on netflix, then played a bit of Guild Wars 2  and that's when it started acting up again.

I just installed the VGA drivers for AMD.  However, the VGA drivers for Intel and nvidia said that there was no compatible hardware.

Unfortunately yes, it's still stuttering 2 hours after a restart. (Sorry for the delay in response, i had to run errands.)

Similar issues with Predator G3-605. Spent two days searching for solution...
Windows updated March 11th and my problems began the next day.

Been running fine since last night.  apparently it was that last Microsoft update that was making things screwey.  Thanks for all the help.  I really appreciate it Smiley Happy

I've been having (almost) the exact same problems on my Predator G3 605, which I have for about 3 months now. After trying a bunch of things like reinstalling drivers, reinstaling windows, nothing helped. It really does seem to be a Windows update. Check out http://www.eightforums.com/general-support/62939-drop-performance-mouse-stuttering-after-about-20-min-3.html. It says the process "intel(r) technology access - service" is likely the culprit. I ended the process and set it not to start again. Seems to have help ~ so far. I will let you know if the solution doenst stick!
