What might be the problem when strating the PC only black screen occurs (even no BIOs)?

Occasionally when I start my PC (Acer 7552G) there will be nothing but black empty screen. It doesn't even let me to BIOs. And only thing that functions is force shut down - none of F-keys work. Have tested and replaced SSD and memories - they are in excellent condition. If lucky win starts if not it might start after 1+h continues starts and force shut-downs. And when it logon to OS, all the opened sessions are still running. Is it motherboard?

Although I have had different and love Acer's for my whole life, If this problem cannot be fixed, I need to buy new more reliable brand.

Thank you in advance

It sounds like you are running Windows 8. In order to properly shut down, here are the instructions:

The problem that you are discribing is the comptuer going into hybrid sleep and is not comming back on. Try tapping on the power button when you are trying to wake up the computer. This issue is not a brand issue, it is a Windows 8 issue. You will find this in all of the brand forums.

Have you tried a system restore yet?

No I haven't. I'll do FormatC in some days. But you presume it's software problem not hardware?

Sounds like it might be. I'd do it anyway to make sure. Here is a link for the instructions when you are ready:

Thank you so much for your help. I'll take your advice.

I might not get in contact with you for your professional feedback after restore/format.

What else you'd think might be the problem if it wasn't software problem after I've done restore/format - still that black screen? If you were me, how would you proceed? What would you do?

If you can get into Bios, then set defaults (f9) then save and exit (f10). That has worked in the past for win7 and win8 comptuers.
