Aspire V3 471G startup option problem
The Troubleshoot icon that should be under the 'Advanced Startup' Option is missing. I don't know if it's because I upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 but I used that previously when I need to go to safe mode. Suddenly it disappeared. I can only pick two options, "Continue to Windows 8.1" and "Turn off the PC".

How you try to access safe mode through Pc settings Or Outside Windows ?

I'm not really after the safe mode. All I want is the troubleshoot option to appear. I need to disable installation of unsigned driver since I'm configuring my Android tablet to be rooted.

Shutdown your computer, While powering On keep holding left "Alt" key and then tap on F10 key Select Keyboard Layout (United States English). Please select Troubleshoot in Advance Options

Didn't really work. There's a random line appeared at the upper left portion but still booted directly to Windows 8.1.

to disable signature drivers, you don't need to boot to safe mode:

Uhm. I just used safe mode as an example that I previously can boot to safe mode via troubleshoot option. My problem is that I can't see the "Troubleshoot" option.

open a command prompt as administrator and type:
sfc /scannow
then reboot and check if troubleshoot is available, if not
Try option one from this thread:
