Hello! First, I have to say that my english is not verry good and i apologize for that.

I have some questions for my notebook. I have Aspire E1-531G wit this spec.
-Pentium intel 2020M 2.40ghz
-8GB RAM
-1TH HDD SATA
-Nvidia GF710 with 2GB

So, I want to upgrade my notebook. I want do change my processor with 3rd generation i7. I want to remove my 8GB of ram and replace with 16 GB of ram. And want to remove my DVD, on his place to put the SATA HDD and to add 256GB SSD.

So, can I make all of this? Can u help me with tips?

According to this video the CPU upgrade is technicly feasable, but I think you might run into BIOS limitations with your laptop.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmehOINmxUE

The max memory for this laptop seems to be 8GB.

The Caddy/SSD in the DVD slot should work.

Unless you find someone with the same model that you have that has done these upgrades, you will just have to try them yourself.

I read that i must be with hm77 chipset to upgrade processor and ram memory. When I chek in device manager I saw this Без име.jpg

So my chipset must be hm77?  Right?

When I read about hm77 I understand few things:

-I can upgrade my Ram memory to 16GB

-I can swap my processor (2020M) with 3rd generation i5/7.

Now i want to understand if my chipset i really hm77 or not, and for thath i write here.
