Trying to recover a Iconia w700 using a recently purchased from Acer USB System Recovery Drive.

The system finds the drive, asks me to click OK to recover the tablet. Starts but then freezes at the following "Disk 0 is now the selected disk".

Help please

The w700 will not boot with an error message "no boot drive found" The hard drive shows in the BIOS.

The recovery usb recovery is explained above. I attemted tp partition the hard drive using a USB with DisK Part Installed but i gives error message that the partition table is miisin. When I try to creat a new partition table it give an error message that is cannot create table in the unaollocated soace.

The think the hard hard drive has failed.

It sure sounds as if you are correct, the SSD has failed in some way. If you are still under warranty, contact Acer support. If your warranty has run out then it's time for a replacement SSD. Luckily the drive is not soldered in, so it is replacable. Unluckily it's mounted to the wrong side of the motherboard, so replacing isn't a trivial operation. The stock drive on most of these is a Lite-On mSATA SSD, in the appropriate size. You can also get 256GB and 512GB versions that would work as an upgrade.
