  • Hi,

Sorry for the trouble you got.
    1. Fn+F3, would enable or disable Airplane Mode(Airplane mode Off - Wifi On, Airplane Mode On- Wifi Off ).
    2. Is the Wifi device detected under Device Manager
    3. As you said you are unable to turn on Wifi, have you tried to load BIOS default settings?(Get to BIOS, Hit F9, Enter, F10, Enter). Check & get back. Cheers.

hello, thanks for the reply... Yes i can see it in the device manager, but what puzzles me is this. when i go to the site for the driver it has 2 drivers listed broadcom and atheros, but none of them seem to work. when i installed windows 8 on it it shows up as reltek when i go into the device manager.. I downgraded to windows 7 went to the site an tried both drivers fro there an none installed( did not try the reltek driver while i had it on windows 7).. But when i put windows 8 back on it the reltek driver installs.. the wire is like greyed out i can't do nothing.
