whistle sound coming from B286HK with Intel 4000 or P4000

All of a sudden I'm getting a high low whistle sound from the monitor speakers. Its resolution is set to 1920X1080 using the Display port. Do I have a faulty monitor if it plays a whistle noise and doesn't stop till I kill power?

OK, I'm not getting 4K (3840X2160) resolution with an Intel P4000 Graphics processor, this sxcks. Look like I have to get a video card. Shouldn't I at least be able to go higher the 1920X1080 in the resolution?

I downloaded the Acer icm file an Windows7 does not install it, it using the Generic driver says this is preferred.

Does thi happen when you are running any high end game or application?

You may check by changing the video resolution of your display adapter.

Since the monitor is a plug and play device it does not need a specific driver.

My mother board supports this resolution below, I can't get that out of the default window7 driver. I'm still at 1920 X 1080.

    "Supports DisplayPort 1.1a with max. resolution of 2560 X 1600 @60Hz"

Only got better resolution after buying a dedicated video card, Nvidia 960 GTX. I can go up to 4K resolution. Again if you have Intel Graphics 4000 resolution only goes to 1920 X 1080.
