Iconia W510 What is the factory default partition arrangement?

Acer Recovery Mngment says "hard drive configuration is not set to the factory default.  Restore aborted" on both restore options. In Disk Management the first partition is 400mb OEM partition, 2nd is 100mb EFI Sys partition, then C: with 26.86gb, and finally D: with 1.61gb data.  I got it second hand so I don't know it's history.  Win 8 works perfectly but I'm concerned about backing up and restoring if the time comes.

Yhe 400mb and 100mb sound correct. The 32GB W510 didn't come with a recovery partition, instead they included discs. I'm guessing the OS has been reinstalled from a Microsoft disc instead of the Acer, creating the recovery partition. Then someone mounted the recovery partition (hence the DSmiley Happy. What's in that partition?

Telling you there is a problem without telling you what was expected sounds like  they've had lessons from Microsoft.

I'd back up the D drive, delete it. And extend C; drive to match. My 510 has a 400mb recovery, 100 mb EFI, 28.70GB boot (NTFS) and a 350mb recovery.

The D partition is basically empty except for a pagefile.sys, $RECYCLE.BIN FOLDER, and System Volume Information folder  that hasn't been changed in months.  Thanks for responding!
