My Acer Iconia A3-A10 cannot obtain IP address

I have reset the tablet, but it will not connect to my router.  I even sent to Acer to check the tablet, they sent it back saying my Wfi is working.  I knew that, but it will not contect. It was connected when I first got the tablet, then it lost the connection, not worked since.  Can you manually insert the address?  Has anyone got some ideas?  Do I have to adjust the settings in the router?

You can ask the OS to forget the network, reboot, then reconnect. It should ask again for the password.

Here is the process(s) I have tried to get the tablet to recognize my router.

1-from the menu, clicked forget network, turned off Wfi, re-booted.

    2-did factory reset

3-tried WPS search button from router (failed)

OK, sounds like you are trying all the right things. What router do you have? What encryption type are you using in it for the wireless? Have you tried to connect the tablet to a different Wifi after the failure started?
