Aconia one 8 lags after going into standby while a game is running.

Hi, 

 

I've noticed that if my Acer iconia one 8 goes into standby while a game is running, it will lag after waking it up. It lags in everything... Games, scrolling webpages, scrolling through emails. 

 

The lag remains until I restart the tablet, even if I close the game and every app. 

 

Any ideas?

    Boy, that is a tough one. Is it with a specific game or with a range of different games? At first blush I'd lean toward the application causing the issue if it only happens with one game, or with games from one vendor. If it were an OS issue I'd expect the symptoms to show up with any reasonably task intensive application.

    Thanks for your reply! I've only tried Crossy Road and Angry Birds so far, and it happens with both. It's strange that the issue continues even after closing the game.

    Try watching busy videos to see if it's in the graphics subsystem.

    Yes video is laggy too after this happens. I've got round the problem for now by increasing the inactivity period before it goes sleep, and ensuring I close games before it goes into sleep mode. But it would be nice to know what's causing this.
