B-710 Charging Problems

Several months ago now I noticed that my tablet no longer was charging when I was using and plugged in.  I assumed it was the charger, so plugged into y PC.  The PC did not recognize the tablet and the tablet did not show that it was charging.  

 

However, IF THE DISPLAY IS OFF the tablet charges fine but still no PC connection.

 

I looked for solutions and people sugested a factory reset.  This I just did but the problem persists.

    USB charging via PC is the slowest and on some tablet you can't even charge it.

     

    to charge at a good rate, you must use the AC charger.

     

    about PC that doesn't recognise your tablet, can you post OS installed on your PC?

     

    are you connecting on USB2.0 or USB3.0 port?

    The tablet doesn't work with any of my PCs (Windows XP, 7 and 8), they're all USB2.

     

    The a.c. charger works no better, everything is the same - only charges when the tablet is turned off completely or just the screen.

    if a factory reset didn't solve your issue, if you are under warranty contact the Acer support service.

    I'm not an Acer employee.

    Should have done this sooner - I'm out of warranty.
