Why does my new Aspire one 7" tablet B1-730HD have to be connected manually to wifi after shut down?

Whenever I shut down my tablet, I have to reconnect manually to wifi. This doesn't happen in sleep mode, or any other time, and aside from that there wifi seems stable. I have only owned this tablet since Xmas, and this wasn't happening when I first had it, which suggests it may be the result of an app being installed, or an update? .....I've already tried forgetting the connection, restarting the tablet, re-connecting etc. but nothing seems to fix this. Can anyone please shed any light on this? Thanks.

you can try a factory reset but you will loose all your personal data, so you need to do a backup first.

    settings/backup&reset/factory data reset

normally, even after a shutdown, it will reconnect automatically when you re-enable the WiFi.

doing a factory reset, you will delete all the downloaded application, so you can check if it's a system update or an application that caused this issue.

Thanks for the feedback.... to be honest I was hoping to avoid the factory reset, but it does appear to have fixed the problem! Smiley Happy
