My Acer Liquid E3 was charging, now it wont turn on or off, the screen shows the time

in 2015 Archives

The light is red. 

 

Ive tried two different chargers & ive connected it to the pc.

    Try a long power button press, around 20 seconds.

    can you explain a little better the issue?

    unplugged from AC charger, no led?

    plugged to AC charger, red led?

     

    screen is black with a big clock aka daydream?

    screen is freezed on home ?

    It was charging, i checked it - the screen was black with the clock showing, i swiped to open nothing happens.

     

    I tried charging again, the LED remains red. 

     

    It apperas to be on, but the screen wont open & when the power button is pressed (for any ammount of time) nothing happens.

    So, even soft touch buttons don't work? (back-home-multi thread)

     

    Have you tried to connect to PC via USB?

     

    maybe it can unlock the daydream screen.

     

    if nothing works....let it drain completly the battery, then recharge it, without power ON and boot when battery is fully charged.

    Yep, this is what i'm left with, no buttons work whatsoever. I'll let the battery run down, then see.

    don't fear if after a complete discharge the screen will not light up immediatly after AC charger is plugged, give it 1-2 minutes to have battery animation.
