Aspire AT-105

in 2015 Archives

I bought an Aspire AT-105 but it cannot detect the DVD-Super Multi Drive. I have tried a couple of different things but no luck. Any help will be appreciated!

    you can check on the BOOT tab or where you found the HDD.

     

    if the DVD is not listed on BIOS, probably has some hardware problems.

    if you mean that the installed DVD reader/writer is not recognised by the OS, try to boot to BIOS pressing F2 at boot.

     

    check if the DVD driver is listed on SATA devices.

    Yes, I meant the installed one. I've tried F2 before but for some reason it doesn't work. Anyway, I just found my way into the BIOS setup but not sure where to find the SATA devices. I see the hard drive but that's about it.
