The driver I have found using my SNID is:

Wireless LAN     Broadcom     Wireless LAN Driver     6.30.223.221     186.1 MB     2014/04/07     Download

I have downloaded and insatlled this one and now I feel my wireless connection is very slow (using 12MB DSL). Also signal strength is very weak even though I am sitting quite near my wifi router (shows 4 bars of signals).

    Any help?

All devices are getting disconnected since I have connected Acer with my home router. Is this some wifi death grip issue like android with aspire r7?

Maybe your having sort of problem on your wifi router or some application or virus making it connect/disconnect.

Shut down all devices and reboot your modem and router and see if it helps.

Have the same problem with Acer Aspire R7 572 and Broadcom WLAN driver version 6.30.223.221.

I uninstalled the device and software from Device Manager and updated to previous version 6.30.223.170.

The Microsoft provided driver, version 6.30.223.102 also works for me.

Works better but still disconnects with heavy Bluetooth and WiFi utilization.  Such as streaming audio from internet to Bluetooth headset or using Skype with Bluetooth headset.

Seems to only be a problem when connected to WiFi B/G band.

Doesn't seem to be an issue when connected to the A band of a newer AP.

    Windows 8.1

i have given my laptop twice for check up to service center. they are too dumb to see that wifi drops signals as soon as it goes like 12-14 feet away from router. i did show the guy but he was like take it home and record a video because this is not an issue. i am never going to buy any acer product in future nor i'll be recommedning it to anyone.
