My new G247HL has a picture control setting for BlueLight

Which defaults to OFF but can be set at 50-100%. Anyone have any idea what the BlueLight setting does and how it should be used? Acer does not!

BTW, Worst Support Ever! I was asked to take a picture of the menu and send it to them.   And was sent a manual, for a product that does not have this setting, although that is a bigger problem, Acer does not produce even proper on line manuals.  This was my second support call on this monitor, both times support was totally inept.

I have used Acer products for years.  I have to doubt I ever would again with support this poor.

    mgerritt,

Sorry for the lack of support you received. I want to try to help you get an answer to your questions. I did not see a setting for BlueLight on a similar version of the G247, and did not see it referenced in any documentation or support materials either. Can you please give me step by step instructions on how to access this setting, and I will work to get the answer to your question.

Sorry for my delayed response, but I had to do research as I did not have immediate access to this model. This is a setting that will allow you to adjust the amount of blue light from the display image. It is believed that blue light exposure could potentially be harmful. You can read a press release related to this topic.
