Problem with Headphone Jack on Iconia A200

I have an Iconia A200 and my music is playing out loud through the tablet speaker even when my earbuds are plugged in. I have tried other earbuds and music still plays aloud. Any suggestions?

    Does A200 come with headphones in the box?

     

    Have you tried a factory data reset or tablet reboot?

     

    factory data reset (backup all your personal data)

    settings/backup&reset/factory data reset

     

    if the issue is still here after reboot and/or factory reset, you need to contact your Acer support service, since it's an hardware issue on the headphone plug.

    It did not come with Headphones in the box. I have always used the same earbuds I use with my laptop, phone, etc. and never had a problem.

     

    I did back up my data and tried a factory reset and it still did not work.

     

    I assumed since this did not work it must be a hardware issue with the plug itself. I will contact Acer.
