Iconia W700 Won't connect to WiFi after being reset.

Hi, I have an Iconia w700 tablet and have recently reset it using the recovery disks that came with it (System DVD, Recovery disks 1 and 2).

Since the recovery, my tablet hasn't been able to connect to wifi at all! Windows can't activate because it won't connect to the internet. The wifi signal is strong and will connect to any other device I use and so the tablet is definitely the one having problems. It's excuse is that it doesn't "detect any wireless hardware". Also, I've tried using the recovery disks multiple times to make sure it reset properly... It did..

What is wrong with it and what should I do?

  • Hi,

Sorry that you are unable to connect to your Wifi Network,.
1; Are you able to look for available network
2; If Not, is the device detected under device manager,.
If the device is not detected, you may need to send the unit for a warranty repair(under warranty), or check with local tech

I'm not able to search for available networks and I can't find it in the device manager. When I try to change adapter settings it doesn't appear either.

How do I send it in for repare?

  • Hi,

If the unit is under warranty, contact Acer for a Warranty repair,. Sorry to say that the issue is with Network adapter not working,.
